YKNPG Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern how you use the Yaknema Payment Gateway (“YKNPG”). By creating an account or integrating the API, you agree to these Terms.

Service overview

• YKNPG offers payments through multiple channels for Cameroonian developers who want to receive payments for their applications, websites, games, and software.
• The service currently supports Orange Money (available). MTN Mobile Money, PayPal, and Visa/Mastercard are coming soon.
• Fees are transparent: Orange Money transactions are charged at 0.001% of the transaction amount. You decide whether you or your customer pays the associated fees.

Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it updated.
• Verification is simple and quick; required information is basic and reviewed promptly.
• You are responsible for keeping credentials (such as API keys) secure and for all activity under your account.

Use of the service

• You may use YKNPG only for lawful projects and to process payments for your own applications, websites, games, or software.
• You must comply with any requirements from the payment channels you enable (for example, Orange Money) and ensure your customers’ instructions are accurate.
• You may not attempt to circumvent fees, probe the service, or interfere with the integrity or security of the platform.

Channels and availability

• Orange Money is available for collections today.
• MTN Mobile Money, PayPal, and Visa/Mastercard are planned and will be enabled when ready.
• Channel availability can vary; you are responsible for checking which channels are active before offering them to customers.

Fees and settlements

• The current fee for Orange Money is 0.001% of the transaction amount. Additional channel fees will be communicated when they launch.
• You choose who pays the applicable fees (you or your customer) during integration or configuration.
• Payouts and balances are updated based on completed transactions and applicable fees.

Support

• Dedicated customer support is available. You can contact us and explain your problem; we will respond as quickly as possible.

Data and security

• YKNPG was built to be useful, secure, and responsive to your needs. User information you send is encrypted and therefore inaccessible even if the database is stolen.
• You must handle any personal data you collect from your customers in compliance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Refunds, reversals, and disputes

• Refunds or reversals are handled according to the status of each transaction and the policies of the underlying payment channel.
• You are responsible for initiating any required customer refunds and for providing accurate instructions to YKNPG.

Changes to the service or terms

• We may update the service (including adding or activating new payment channels) and these Terms. Continued use of YKNPG after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Suspension and termination

• We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, illegal activity, non-payment of fees, or actions that threaten service integrity.
• You may stop using the service at any time; accrued fees and obligations remain payable.

Liability

• YKNPG is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for failures caused by third-party payment channels or your misuse of the service.
